The Leader Planning Course
To plan your actions and deployment of resources (manpower, material & funds) in an effort to meet your Strategic Level guidance and build your business towards increased revenue and profit. This course coaches students to develop a set of Objectives that support their Goal. It synchronizes efforts with the Strategic Office, your boss, peers and subordinates. The Action Plans lay a foundation for your staff to meet the Objectives. Students will develop a Battle Rhythm.
An aim point for your business.
A set of defined actions that collectively guide your business towards your Goal. Think of these as a set of sub-goals. Objectives are used to manage and direct your resources (manpower, material & funds). Operational Level leaders should set about 10 – 12 Objectives.
As you develop your Objectives, a single objective will normally incorporate two or more of the Mission Essential Tasks. In the end, with your 10 – 12 Objectives, you want to make sure all of your Mission Essential Tasks are addressed.
A winning practice is to set a series of Objectives for each year.
The plans for how you will accomplish each Objective. In here, you will assign specific tasks to an individual and direct the resources.
This will keep you focused and on track to meet your Objectives. Use this to manage your time and synchronize actions. A time management tool to record the re-occurring events you do:
Managing suspense’s is a tough one. There will be a lot of non-recurring suspense’s that do not fit into your Battle Rhythm. You must track them to be effective. This means managing the suspense’s that you owe your boss or Strategic Office and managing suspense’s your subordinates owe you.
